Select three root letters to explore occurrences in the Quran
Most Arabic words are built from a root (جذر) of three consonants. Pick those three letters above, using ? for any letter and _ for a repeated one, and the tool shows every word in the Quran built from that root. Results are arranged as a tree: verbs by form (وزن), voice and tense; nouns by type and grammatical case. Each distinct word form opens to its verse references, and any level can be opened as a full list of highlighted verses.
For example, root ك ت ب ("to write") occurs 319 times in 44 distinct spellings, from كَتَبَ to كِتَٰب, and root ر ح م ("mercy") occurs 339 times. The analysis is based on the Quranic Arabic Corpus.
